Took my Mom grocery shopping.

Finally hit a wall of exhaustion and did nothing but sleep and watch Angel on my Netflix streaming service.

Trying to dry out firewood at work.

Day 54-2011

Got to try out the darning stitch on my sewing machine while repairing some huge holes in the cuffs of a pair of men's trousers.

Day 53-2011

Packed up warm clothes to wear under my costume in preparation for the first day of freezing my butt off for Underground Railroad.

Day 52-2011

Lost a filling from a back molar that was already hurting me all weekend.  It only made the pain that much worse.

Day 51-2011

Went to a Borders closing sale.  Didn't buy anything as everything was only 20% off list price, but took pictures of books I would like to get from the library.

Day 50-2011

Saw The King's Speech with my mom.  Very good.

Day 49-2011

Did an outreach for work then bought $13.00 worth of candy at a gas station on a whim.  The people in line all thought I was high.

The dressing rooms are finally coming together.

Day 47-2011

Costumed 10 people in less than 5 hours.  That is a LOT.

Day 46-2011

First day of rehearsals for the Underground Railroad program at work.  This is a co-worker reading his part of a slave seller.  Blurred to protect the innocent ;)

Day 45-2011

Had to spend my Valentine's Day at an early work meeting.  Luckily I work for a museum so it became an opportunity to look around at a branch I have never been to before.  This is a really really old electric car.

Errands day, ended up getting some new earrings on-the-cheap.  The pair on the left are little handlebar mustaches!

Day 43-2011

Spent a good chunk of the day developing a new costuming log for work to keep track of who-has-what, and a costumer requests form.  Took forever since I'm a formatting perfectionist.

Day 42-2011

Scraped about 10 tons of wax from the lanterns at work just so they can get covered in it all over again.

Day 41-2011

Got the maintenance guys at work to install a new clothing rail for me at work to make room for all the men's trousers.  A shelf full of books fell in the process and it was pretty funny.

Day 40-2011

Went to Target to pick up a cute little notebook to help keep me on top op things at work.

Day 39-2011

Voted and helped pass a school levy.

Day 38-2011

Spent some time organizing all the handouts I have been given at work over the years.

Day 37-2011

Spent the day doing errands and ended up getting 4 loaves of Jimmy Johns day-old bread for free!

Day 36-2011

Spent 15 minutes working on decluttering my closet. This actually does show improvement.

Day 35-2011

Went to work and developed a massive headache.  My "Holy Grail" headache meds didn't really help either. :(

Day 34-2011

Went back to work and actually started costuming people for the Underground Railroad program.  My friend trying on a "slave catcher's hat".

A day of snow and ice...

And then for a few moments, it looked nice!  (Then it was back to snow and ice.)
