Worked on making a video.  All day.

Day 58

Did a security gig at work and got to see these guys, the Brick Road Ramblers.  They were the best part of the night!

Day 57

Bought 2 pairs of jeans with a J.C. Penney gift card.  This brings my grand total to 4 pairs.  The last time I bought jeans was a year ago.  Also got some polka dot socks.  :)

Day 56

OK, I know this isn't a picture but it's too funny not to post. I had my "mother" at work take a video of me leading out the group during one of our scenes to show how usually the kids duck and run at the same time when they are "shot" at. It didn't end up working out because this was an entire group of adults who didn't react much, but the funny part is the background audio. My boss's son has been playing the slave catcher in this scene, and after he shoots the gun off something gets into his eye and you can hear the aftermath. It may not be as funny to those who do not know him, but it's freaking hilarious to those that do.

My Valentine's Day was pretty non-romantical.  It was spent by watching the Daytona 500 and some basketball all-star game with my roomate.  It was also his birthday so he got the pick of what to watch.  Yippe for me, the non-sports gal.

Day 44

I've been a bad Project 365 girl, and haven't been keeping up with my picture taking.   There will be some gaps.

The day before Valentine's Day we celecrated my roomate's birthday by having some of his friends over for a game night.  This is Binx with his hand of Apples to Apples.  (I am aware this is become the cat blog.  What can I say, I don't get out much.)

Day 43

Had a little mishap today.  My roomate wanted me to Veet (same as Nair) his back, and he seems to have had a bad reaction to it.  The top pic is him lying with wet washclothes and frozen foods on his back to cool the burn, and the bottom pic shows the actual damage.  And that's how it looked after it started looking better.

My roomate let me paint his toenails.  He didn't seem to mind as much as I thought he would...

Day 41

Didn't get a snowday from doing an outreach at an elementary school, but after another hour getting my car out of the parking lot and only 10 miles into my trip to Eastlake, I gave up.  The highway wasn't being cleared and I was sliding even while only going 40mph, and I just couldn't take it any more.  I had to cancel, and I feel like everyone thinks I suck right now.

Day 40

Add white bread and a 24 pack of pop to this and you have my grocery shopping for the day.  All comfort food, and I need it.  Don't judge me.

Day 39

Just a portion of the stuff I counted today doing inventory in the gift shop at work.  I actually got a blister on my finger from writing down all those item numbers.

All the residual snow melted away yesterday, and now we are getting more.

I've been watching a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD since I've been here.  They actually belong to my roommate.  He is a guy. Weird.

Binx sitting on my bedding, which I keep folded up during the day, because my bed is now a couch.  I miss having a house that is "mine".

I live with a boy now (not my boyfriend, just a roommate), and this is his idea of curtains...
